Following the new
trend of dishing out selfie phones, Alcatel is the newest
company to jump onto the bandwagon. Alcatel has launched the all new Flash
priced at Rs 9,999. Alcatel also decided to sell the smartphone on Flipkart,
starting today.
The Alcatel Flash
sports a 5-inch IPS HD display with 720 X 1080 pixels of resolution. It comes
powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 1GB RAM. The 8GB onboard
storage is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
The Flash runs on the
rather older Android 4.4 KitKat and also comes with a Smart Wake feature, among
other gesture control features. Some other features include a 13MP rear camera
with auto-focus, a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies, HD recording and LED
flash.
The dual SIM phone
comes with a slew of connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
and GPS.
It is available in
crystal white and Gun grey options.
Alactel has also
launched a ‘Selfie Contest’ wherein everyday 20 contestants can win discount of
Rs 1000. Moreover, the winner also gets a photo-shoot makeover that will be
published in one of the recognized lifestyle magazine.
